Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, we have been making hand-crafted instruments for twenty-five years. As a result of our knowledge and experience, we have built a solid reputation, particularly in the folk world. On these pages you'll see what makes us special.

e use high-quality
materials and fine craftsmanship to produce instruments that look good, sound
great and play well. Pick up an Oakwood and feel the difference of a hand-made
instrument. Play one, and understand why so many musicians are choosing Oakwood.
Talk to us, and we can make you an instrument that you'll treasure for life.
Although our approach is traditional, we are continuously researching radical designs and exploring new construction techniques. This means that we can offer you the choice of a wide range of traditional instruments, less common instruments and custom designs.
